Position Summary

 

We are seeking a Workforce Management Manager to support staffing operations across our skilled nursing facilities. This role will oversee workforce planning, scheduling oversight, recruiting coordination, and labor analytics to ensure appropriate staffing levels while maintaining compliance and controlling labor costs.

 

The position will work closely with facility administrators, nursing leadership, HR, and finance to improve staffing efficiency and reduce overtime and agency utilization.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor staffing levels across facilities to ensure proper coverage.
  • Track labor metrics including PPD/HPPD, overtime, and agency usage.
  • Support facility schedulers and administrators with schedule optimization.
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts and track open positions and hiring pipelines.
  • Produce workforce reports for leadership on staffing trends and labor costs.
  • Ensure staffing practices align with state and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with PBJ reporting and workforce compliance initiatives.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, HR, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, workforce management, or staffing coordination.
  • Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
  • Strong analytical and Excel/reporting skills.
  • Experience with scheduling systems such as OnShift, Paycor, Kronos, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
