Job Description

Ohel seeks a talented professional to represent Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Mental Illness to major government entitlement programs such as Social Security/SSI, Medicaid and Food Stamps.  Duties include eligibility planning, applications, recertification's, advocacy, and working with government regulations. Applicant will liaison with managers across the agency to ensure positive outcomes.  The applicant must be well-organized, self-motivated and able to follow through on multi-tasked responsibilities and general administrative requirements. Applicant will review the cost of care ledger regularly to ensure Ohel and individuals we serve are obtaining accurate income. This position requires strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as computer skills (including Excel, MS Word, Outlook). Experience in relevant field is preferred, but training will be provided. This position is full time or part-time position and is located in Brooklyn. 

Salary: $45,000 per year
