Job Description

Competitive position available for an enthusiastic and motivated mental health professional to join Ohel's Domestic Violence department. Candidate will offer trauma-informed counseling services to clients experiencing intimate partner violence as well as case management services to clients residing in shelter. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing individual clinical and case management services through a trauma-informed, client-centered lens; leading weekly group sessions; providing advocacy and linkage to concrete services; collaborating with colleagues within the Domestic Violence program and other departments to support and enhance client care; assisting clients in obtaining stable, long-term housing; supporting and assisting clients in the process of transitioning and adjusting to independent life post-shelter. Supervision and CEU in-service training provided. MSW or MHC degree required. Strong clinical and administrative skills a must. This full-time position is 35 hours a week and located in Brooklyn. Yiddish/Hebrew/Russian-speaking a plus.

Salary: $50,000 per year
