A Nursing Home Financial Services Company with offices in Brooklyn and coming soon in the Five Towns looking for experienced individuals to fill the following Full-Time position:

DESCRIPTION
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/CONTROLLER POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Senior Accountant/Controller to prepare financial statements and do financial audits. The Senior Accountant's duties may also include managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciling accounts, and cash management. You must be able to work independently and manage staff.

Senior Accountant/Controller duties and requirements:

·        Previous experience as an accountant, controller, or in a similar role in a nursing home financial services environment.

·        Degree in accounting, finance, or in a related field.

·        Strong computer skills and knowledge of accounting software programs.

·        Demonstrable experience of Excel proficiency, including the use of VLOOKUP and SUMIF formulas and pivot tables.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·        Highly organized and detail-oriented.

·        Excellent math and accounting skills.
