Position Summary

We are looking for an organized, motivated Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist for our group of skilled nursing facilities.  This individual will be responsible for Accounts Receivable Billing related tasks for multiple FEINs.

As an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the Managed Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, MLTC and Commercial plan billing for our skilled nursing facilities. Tasks include reviewing census data and authorizations, billing for services, reviewing collections and payments. Resposibilities include but are not limited to reviewing admission records, medical notes and codes assigned to diagnoses to ensure prompt and correct billing of accounts. You will work with business office staff, conduct audits, ensure compliance, and monitor receivables and aging reports.

Qualifications:

• Required to have a minimum 2 years Managed Care Billing experience in Healthcare Accounts Receivable for skilled nursing / rehabilitation / Post- Acute facilities.
• Experience with Healthcare billing systems, common working files, Managed Care billing, and familiarity with CMS regulations.
• The ability to multi-task between projects, payer types, and month-end-close deadlines.
• Attention to detail and the ability to understand, problem solve, track, and verbalize troubled/growing accounts and payor types.
• Able to communicate with confidence to executive leaders.
• A positive attitude and ability to work with business office managers.
• Strong computer and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• Healthcare Accounts Receivable Billing: 2 years
• Experience in Nursing Home A/R Bookkeeping

Salary commensurate with experience.
