Family that lives near Ocean Parkway & Avenuein Brooklyn has a 5 yo son who has been approved for OPWDD services. They are open to male or female respite worker & as they have been approved for many hours would take more than one worker to ensure coverage. Respite worker would be a Jewish Board-Mishkon worker, approximately $18 an hour. Job description:
Respite workers spend time with an individual, child or adult who has a developmental disability. They focus on the persons wants/needs trying to improve the quality of life for the individual and to provide some relief to the parents.
