A Boro Park, Brooklyn non profit is hiring a medical information assistant. Candidate must have literacy with medical topics or terminology and have internet searching skills. Candidate must be detail oriented. Job includes transcribing, digitizing, and structuring information from digital and paper-based sources (scanning, photographing, OCR), apply standardized file naming conventions and maintain organized digital storage and assisting with internet-based research and information gathering, and reviewing, validating, and entering and data in spreadsheets and CRM systems. Candidate must have at least 1 year of prior office experience. Candidate must be computer savvy and proficient in Excel. Option to work from home 1 day a week. Benefits include PTO and holiday/vacation pay. Salary is commensurate with experience and hours.
Mon-Thurs, 9 am-3 pm, 9 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm, and Fri, 9 am-1/2 pm
