Job Overview

We’re seeking a self-driven and capable EHS professional to take full ownership of Environmental Health & Safety at our growing dairy manufacturing facility. This is a standalone role — ideal for someone with solid EHS experience who’s ready to step into a leadership position, run a tight program, and drive real impact on the ground. This is not just about compliance — it’s about building a culture of safety and accountability in a fast-paced environment where every detail counts.

Key Responsibilities

• Own all EHS compliance across the plant (OSHA, DOH, EPA, DEC, etc.)
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
• Design and deliver training programs to drive safety awareness and accountability
• Ensure SOPs are aligned with safety standards and updated regularly
• Track and report on key safety metrics (incidents, near misses, etc.)
• Serve as point of contact during inspections and audits
• Collaborate with plant leadership to improve safety protocols and foster a proactive safety culture

• 2–5 years of EHS experience in food production, manufacturing, or industrial environments
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety standards
• Hands-on, confident, and comfortable operating independently
• Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative
• Strong communicator who can influence teams and promote a safety-first mindset
