Now Hiring: Clinical Director – Authorizations Department

LBAPS is seeking a dedicated Clinical Director for our Authorizations Department to oversee clinical and administrative operations related to service authorizations. The ideal candidate will be a BCBA or have extensive knowledge and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the authorizations process for clinical services.
• Review documentation to ensure medical necessity and compliance with payer requirements.
• Collaborate with clinicians and administrative teams to streamline workflows.
• Provide clinical oversight and ensure accuracy in ABA-related documentation.
• Develop, refine, and implement departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification or strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health, insurance authorizations, or clinical operations (preferred).
• Strong understanding of ABA service models and insurance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
