Director of Operations – Behavioral Health

Locations: Queens & Brooklyn (Telehealth & In-Person)

Program: Article 31 / OMH

An established behavioral health organization is seeking an experienced Director of Operations – Behavioral Health to oversee day-to-day operations across its Queens and Brooklyn locations, supporting both telehealth and in-person services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily behavioral health operations across multiple locations
• Manage intake workflows, scheduling, and client onboarding
• Ensure insurance verification and prior authorizations are completed accurately
• Maintain documentation compliance and audit readiness (OMH / Article 31)
• Oversee billing readiness and coordination with internal teams
• Support and lead operational staff and clinical workflows

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven operational leadership experience in behavioral health
• Strong knowledge of OMH, Article 31, Medicaid, and payer requirements
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
• Able to manage both in-person and telehealth operations

1-2 years
