A Boro Park, Brooklyn non profit is hiring a medical information assistant. Job includes transcribing, digitizing, and structuring information from digital and paper-based sources (scanning, photographing, OCR), apply standardized file naming conventions and maintain organized digital storage and assisting with internet-based research and information gathering, and reviewing, validating, and entering and data in spreadsheets and CRM systems. Candidate must have at least 1 year of prior office experience and be medically knowledgeable. Option to work from home 1 day a week. Benefits include PTO and holiday/vacation pay. Salary is commensurate with experience and hours.
Mon-Thurs, 9 am-3 pm, 9 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm, and Fri, 9 am-1/2 pm
