Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to provide virtual therapy and emotional support to children during after-school hours. This is a remote, part-time opportunity ideal for clinicians who want to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a flexible schedule.

The LMSW will work with children struggling with emotional regulation, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and social skills. The role focuses on helping children develop healthy coping strategies and supporting families in reinforcing progress at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual telehealth sessions to children and adolescents after school hours.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop appropriate treatment goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, play therapy techniques, etc.) suited to each child’s needs.
• Communicate with parents or caregivers to ensure consistency and support between sessions.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors and participate in case consultations as needed.

• LMSW license in New York State (required).
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or families (preferred).
• Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining clinical accountability.
• Access to a private, professional setting for telehealth sessions and reliable internet connection.

Experience Required

1-2 years
