Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Director to lead and oversee clinical operations within a growing ABA organization. This individual will play a key leadership role in maintaining high-quality care, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.

This is an in-person leadership position requiring strong clinical expertise, operational oversight, and a passion for working with children and families.

Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

  • Oversee all ABA clinical services and ensure high standards of care across cases
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical staff
  • Review treatment plans, assessments, and progress reports
  • Ensure all clinical work aligns with best practices in ABA and ethical guidelines

Caseload & Billable's
  • Maintain a monthly billable requirement while balancing leadership responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision and clinical services as needed
  • Monitor team productivity and ensure billable targets are met across the department

Staff Management & Development
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate clinical team members
  • Lead team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing trainings
  • Support hiring decisions and onboarding of new clinical staff

Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with NJ state regulations, insurance requirements, and documentation standards
  • Oversee accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Maintain audit readiness and ensure adherence to payer requirements

Systems & Technology
  • Utilize and manage CentralReach for:
    • Scheduling
    • Data collection and analysis
    • Billing and reporting
  • Ensure team proficiency in systems and data accuracy

Family & Stakeholder Communication
  • Communicate with families regarding treatment progress and goals
  • Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and other professionals
  • Handle escalations and ensure a high level of client satisfaction

Requirements
  • Active NJ LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) – Required
  • BCBA certification preferred
  • 3–5+ years of ABA clinical experience
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Experience managing billables and team productivity
  • Proficiency with CentralReach or similar ABA software
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Compensation & Schedule
  • Salary: Up to $125,000 (based on experience)
  • Full-time, in-person role
