Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Director to lead and oversee clinical operations within a growing ABA organization. This individual will play a key leadership role in maintaining high-quality care, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
This is an in-person leadership position requiring strong clinical expertise, operational oversight, and a passion for working with children and families.
Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
- Oversee all ABA clinical services and ensure high standards of care across cases
- Provide supervision and mentorship to BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical staff
- Review treatment plans, assessments, and progress reports
- Ensure all clinical work aligns with best practices in ABA and ethical guidelines
Caseload & Billable's- Maintain a monthly billable requirement while balancing leadership responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and clinical services as needed
- Monitor team productivity and ensure billable targets are met across the department
Staff Management & Development- Train, mentor, and evaluate clinical team members
- Lead team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing trainings
- Support hiring decisions and onboarding of new clinical staff
Operations & Compliance- Ensure compliance with NJ state regulations, insurance requirements, and documentation standards
- Oversee accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Maintain audit readiness and ensure adherence to payer requirements
Systems & Technology- Utilize and manage CentralReach for:
- Scheduling
- Data collection and analysis
- Billing and reporting
- Ensure team proficiency in systems and data accuracy
Family & Stakeholder Communication- Communicate with families regarding treatment progress and goals
- Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and other professionals
- Handle escalations and ensure a high level of client satisfaction
Requirements- Active NJ LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) – Required
- BCBA certification preferred
- 3–5+ years of ABA clinical experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing billables and team productivity
- Proficiency with CentralReach or similar ABA software
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Compensation & Schedule- Salary: Up to $125,000 (based on experience)
