Seeking a highly organized, proactive and resourceful Medical Research Assistant to support the medical research and physician database initiatives. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, problem-solving, and efficiently organizing large amounts of detailed information.

The Medical Research Assistant will research medical conditions and specialties, identify and evaluate appropriate physicians and healthcare providers, and maintain detailed records within the internal database system. This position plays a key role in expanding and strengthening the organization’s medical referral network and resources. There is potential for this in-office role to become partially hybrid over time.


Responsibilities:

  • Research medical conditions, specialties, treatments, and healthcare providers
  • Identify physicians and specialists best suited for various medical concerns
  • Build and maintain detailed provider profiles and referral resources
  • Input and update physician information including specialties, office locations, hospital affiliations, contact information, office hours, and insurance participation
  • Organize and verify data for accuracy and consistency
  • Expand the organization’s network by researching and adding new providers and specialists
  • Digitize and maintain records and documentation
  • Work closely with team members to ensure referral information remains current and reliable
  • Assist with special database and research projects as needed


Qualifications:

  • Strong internet research and computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and think critically
  • Comfortable learning and researching unfamiliar medical topics
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally
  • Prior administrative, healthcare, research, or database experience is a plus


Compensation & Benefits:

  • $55,000 – $75,000+ DOE
