Brooklyn – Personal Care Assistant – Male Patient

Part-Time, Full-Time & Per Diem Opportunities

About the Role

High Standard Home Care is seeking a Personal Care Assistant / Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide quality care and support to a male patient in Brooklyn.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding
2. Preparing meals and supporting proper nutrition
3. Providing light housekeeping and grocery shopping
4. Monitoring vital signs and assisting with basic health needs
5. Administering medications as directed
6. Scheduling medical appointments and providing transportation
7. Providing companionship and engaging the patient in activities
8. Maintaining accurate records of care and health status

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. HHA Certification required
3. CPR/First Aid Certification
4. 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illness, or challenging behaviors
5. Valid NY State Driver’s License
6. Valid medicals
