A medical facility in the Five Towns is seeking a Front Desk Secretary to provide friendly, efficient, and compliant patient intake while supporting daily administrative operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a welcoming demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and professional check-in experience.
- Complete initial patient intake, including collecting demographics, verifying insurance, obtaining consent forms, and confirming all documentation is accurate.
- Review and update patient medical and personal information in the electronic records system.
- Handle patient inquiries in person and by phone, offering clear information on clinic policies and procedures.
- Support general administrative office tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and excellent customer service.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Comfortable with computers, data entry, and office equipment.
- Previous medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
