Job Description

Job Title: Patient Liaison

We're looking for energetic, positive and people oriented candidates to join our team of receptionists for our busy call center.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Answer phones in gracious, professional manner; and take appropriate action for


each call.


2. Properly schedule appointments.


3. Greets patients in a professional and friendly manner.


4. Assists with the check-in and out process, scheduling follow-up appointments.


5. Identify patient’s needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide


solutions.


6. Collect and process co-payments and other fees.


7. Determine insurance eligibility by comparing patient information to


requirements. Ensure appropriate referrals and/or authorization are obtained.


8. Input demographic information into EMR, update that information as needed.


9. Keeps up with the rates for all services at the medical center and provides this


information to all patients.


10. Use company policy to determine if there can be an immediate resolution to a


patient issue or if that issue required managerial input.


11. Continuously update job knowledge by learning new procedures and services


offered by the medical center and rates associated with those services. Offer that


information to patients when necessary.


12. Meet team qualitative and quantitative targets.


13. Other Duties as required.
