Location: 4510 16th Avenue, Brooklyn NY, 111219

Schedule:

  1. Sunday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
  2. Monday: 11:00AM-7:00 PM
  3. Tuesday: 10:00 AM-6:00PM
  4. Wednesday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
  5. Thursday 10:00 AM-6:00PM
  6. Friday: Off

The Medical Receptionist serves as the face of the practice and the first person a patient comes in contact with. As such, the Medical Receptionist serves as a key player in ensuring a smooth flow of operations throughout the practice and guaranteeing that the patient experience meets our standards of CARE: Compassion, Agility, Respect, and Excellence.


The Medical Receptionist is exceptionally skilled at maintaining a calm, friendly, and professional demeanor while juggling various competing tasks at once by utilizing a high level of time management, prioritization of tasks, communication, and customer service skills. The Medical Receptionist works effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, all while keeping a smile on their face.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Greeting patients upon arrival
  2. Assisting patients with required paperwork
  3. Answering phone calls
  4. Scheduling and confirming appointments
  5. Verifying medical insurances
  6. Creating referrals
  7. Responding to patient inquiries

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 1 year of professional experience in healthcare, customer service, or a related position.

Compensation

$23–$25 per hour commensurate with experience
