Position Summary
The Property Management Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the property management team. This position serves as the primary point of contact for residents, prospects, and internal departments while ensuring leasing, compliance, and administrative processes are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tenant relations and provide exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate all aspects of the leasing process from inquiry through move-in.
- Screen prospective tenants, review applications, verify documentation, and prepare applications for approval.
- Process lease documentation and ensure complete and accurate resident files.
- Maintain building compliance, licenses, and required documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance, accounting, and management teams to ensure smooth property operations.
- Handle resident concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records within the property management software.
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, notices, and resident communications.
- Coordinate with housing assistance programs and outside agencies when applicable.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Support special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management, leasing, or administration preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional, positive, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or other property management software is a plus.
