Anderson International Foods is a dynamic, fast-growing specialty kosher food company based in Jersey City, 

Our products can be found in the largest retailers nationwide and Kosher Supermarkets and we’re looking for enthusiastic, quick-learners to join our team and help us grow.

About the position:

We are searching for a self-motivated merchandiser who possesses strong sales skills and the confidence to influence key decision makers at the store level. This position services and sells to retail accounts within an assigned territory - for either Brooklyn, Long Island, Five Towns and Queens. The ideal candidate is independent, ambitious and driven to succeed.

Responsibilities:

●      Build relationships with store personnel, create impactful action plans, and support a positive brand image.

●      Partner with our customers to ensure sales targets are flawlessly executed.

●      Meet and exceed sales goals by increasing in-store visibility of client products and promotions.

●      Ensure products are always available in stores by maintaining strong relationships with distributors.

●      Implement innovative marketing strategies that drive product positioning and awareness.

Requirements:

●      Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as this position requires daily discussions with customers at all personnel levels.

●      Demonstrated ability to multi-task, elevated sense of urgency and attention to detail.

●      Adaptability to changing demands and client goals.

●      Ability to work independently, but also as a member of the larger Anderson team.

●      Merchandizer must have a car.

This a part time position. Salary is commensurate with the candidate’s experience paid hourly at a rate of $20-$25 per hour including travel time between stores.
