Sales / Wholesale Lead

Mirellie Children's Clothing | Brooklyn, NY

Mirellie is a mission-driven children's clothing startup seeking a strong, self-driven Sales / Wholesale Lead to build retail relationships, open wholesale opportunities, and create real sales traction for a growing new brand. This is a hands-on role for someone who moves quickly, communicates clearly, follows up consistently, and turns conversations into opportunities. This is not a passive coordinator role. We need someone who takes ownership, creates momentum, and keeps clear track of every lead and next step.

What You'll Do

  • Research boutiques, children's stores, retail buyers, and wholesale opportunities
  • Reach out directly by phone, email, text, and in-person where relevant
  • Schedule sales calls, presentations, and buyer conversations
  • Follow up consistently until there is a clear yes or no
  • Help prepare and send line sheets, lookbooks, pricing, and product information
  • Track every lead, response, next step, and commitment
  • Help secure wholesale interest, purchase orders, and retail placements
  • Coordinate trunk shows or store presentations where relevant
  • Communicate clearly with the internal team on progress, obstacles, and buyer feedback

Experience Required
Preferred experience includes one or more of the following:
  • Wholesale sales
  • Apparel or fashion sales
  • Children's clothing industry experience
  • Boutique or retail buyer relationships
  • Business development
  • Retail outreach
  • Community-based sales


Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills are required.

Compensation
Compensation will be discussed based on experience, sales ability, and role structure. The goal is to reward real sales performance and successful retail and wholesale placement.
