Seeking Part Time Social Worker
The JEC Lower School is seeking a part-time social worker for the 2024-2025 school year. The social worker will work alongside the Director of Guidance to promote student social and emotional well-being and growth. The social worker will teach and reinforce healthy social and emotional skills by providing whole class lessons and running social groups. The social worker will also provide short-term individual school based counseling to select students who are experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioral problems that interfere with their learning or the ability of others to learn. The social worker will further support students by consulting and
collaborating with crucial stakeholders, i.e., parents, teachers, and administrators. Applicants should be passionate about helping children grow and develop life skills and their self-confidence.
