Job Description

A healthcare company is seeking a Finance Associate. In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the Finance department. Assist the Controller in numerous financial, accounts payable, administrative and organizational tasks to facilitate efficient workflow. Attention to detail and a proactive approach are vital in maintaining productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis in various areas, including financial performance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and budgets.
• Lead special projects, such as audits, insurance renewals, cost report filings, etc.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with, and act as a professional point of contact for Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Operations and external vendors on behalf of the Controller to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues.
• Manage calendar of key financial deliverables and provide appropriate information to banking partners, lenders and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide comprehensive support, coordinate and prioritize tasks, projects, and deadlines for timely completion.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of prior healthcare/nursing home accounts payable or accounting experience.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear departmental and external communication.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant tools.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude, working well independently and in a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines.
• A positive and professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
