Our office in the Five Towns is looking to hire a Financial Planning Specialist (FPS).
As an FPS, your role is to provide various aspects of support to our financial representatives, including but not limited to data entry, service input, and administrative support to help build advisor business.
Responsibilities:
Operations Support:
- Creating and maintaining compliant client files.
- Submitting case notes into the system.
- Creating compliant letters and correspondence via phone calls/emails.
Planning, Sales, and Service Support:
- Monitoring daily status reports and acting on cases needing attention.
- Developing an integrated package for Financial Representatives to deliver to clients.
- Opening and funding investment accounts.
- Processing investment service requests (e.g., fund disbursements, account transfers, trade correction requests).
- Managing the underwriting process.
- Assisting on projects assigned by the Director of Operations.
Education and Industry Experience:
- Ability to assess client financial situations and analyze portfolios.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive plans aligned with client goals.
- Commitment to professional development (e.g., licensing, registration, designations).
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Series 6 & Series 63 or Series 7 & Series 63.
- One to three years of securities industry experience preferred.
- Degree in finance preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Salary: $60,000-$70,000 depending on experience and licensing
