JCCGCI is looking for a compassionate and caring individual who has a passion for working with the older adult population. The Assistant Director will assist in the coordination of Center educational and recreational activities, supervise staff and volunteers, provide case assistance services, and help oversee the day-to-day management of our busy Ocean Parkway Older Adult Center.
You will:
· Work with the Director in program planning and the development of Center programming and activities.
· Provide resources to clients, entitlement counseling and case assistance.
· Assist in inventory control and the purchase supplies.
· Prepare reports, track attendance and other required records.
· Document services including client intake, and client forms.
· Help supervise Center menu-planning and related food and nutritional services.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 1-2 years of human services experience required.
· Computer literacy a must.
Full time/On-Site/$33 per hour.
