Position Summary:

We are looking for a professional Accounts Payable Manager who will be responsible for managing the company accounts payable process and function in an efficient and accurate manner. The Accounts Payable Manager will ensure that the department operates smoothly, maintains accurate and complete records regarding payments to suppliers, processes payments to vendors, and trains and supports Accounts Payable staff. You will also serve as a liaison between the Accounts Payable and Cash Management Departments to help manage budgeting and timing of vendor payments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Training, motivating, and evaluating Accounts Payable staff members.

Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to senior management.

Building and maintaining relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.

Assisting Accounts Payable team in all Accounts Payable processing tasks.

Supports the Controller with annual audit, year-end financials, and tax return preparation by preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation as needed.

Responsible for closing out monthly purchase journals.

Maintain confidentiality of and compliance with all company and patient information in accordance with federal, state and local regulations, HIPAA regulations, and Company policies.

Assist with other projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field (preferred).

Demonstrable experience of Excel proficiency, including the use of VLOOKUP and SUMIF formulas.

5+ years experience in a supervisory role.

Leadership skills.

Health Care experience preferred.

Extensive knowledge about accounting and management principles, Accounts Payable procedures and interaction with Cash Management Department.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong planning and problem-solving skills.

Ability to analyze information and processes.

Motivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
