We are seeking an attorney or advocate to represent special education students at hearings with the NYC Dept of Education. The special education advocate plays a vital role in enhancing the educational experience of students with special needs. This position involves overseeing the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure that each child receives the appropriate resources and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and excellent interpersonal communication skills. Salary will commensurate with experience, however we are willing to train the right candidate. There is full time, part time, and/or remote work options available.
