Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ functional abilities and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students’ daily living skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ educational goals.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress toward identified objectives.
- Conduct training sessions for staff and parents on techniques to support students’ occupational therapy needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license for occupational therapy practice.
- Experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to develop creative and adaptive solutions to support student engagement and participation.
