Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and case files related to special needs services.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case management.
- Draft correspondence and coordinate communication between clients, service providers, and legal counsel.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Participate in client meetings and assist in developing advocacy and support strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- An associate’s degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law or special education law.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
