Hotel Revenue Manager
Location: Hawthorne, NJ
Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
We are a family-owned, well-established real estate and hospitality business seeking a strategic, data-driven Hotel Revenue Manager to lead revenue optimization across our hotel portfolio. This role is responsible for maximizing room revenue, occupancy, and overall profitability through effective pricing strategies, inventory control, and demand forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies across all distribution channels to drive revenue growth
- Analyze market trends, competitor rates, and internal performance data to identify new revenue opportunities
- Manage daily rate and inventory decisions using Channel Manager tools
- Prepare and present revenue performance reports, forecasts, and budgets to stakeholders
- Maintain rate parity and accuracy across all booking platforms
- Lead weekly revenue meetings and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations teams
- Create and maintain demand forecasts for rooms and other revenue streams
- Monitor the mix of group and transient business to ensure profitability
- Optimize the distribution channel mix to lower costs and increase direct bookings
- Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities during low-demand periods or high-demand events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue management or a similar analytical role within hospitality
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a solid understanding of hotel operations and market dynamics
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence key decisions
