We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Teaching and Learning to lead our special education team.

In this role, you’ll shape curriculum, guide teachers, and make sure every student receives the individualized education they deserve.

What You’ll Do

• Lead curriculum planning and align special education programs with general education standards.
• Support teachers with effective, evidence-based strategies for diverse learners.
• Ensure instructional materials and assessments are engaging and accessible for all students.
• Coach and mentor teachers and support staff to help them grow professionally.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide meaningful feedback.
• Organize professional development on key topics like IEP compliance, behavior management, and literacy interventions.
• Oversee program compliance with all state and district requirements.
• Review and monitor student progress and IEP implementation.
• Collaborate with families, advocates, and community partners to support student success.
• Supervise instructional staff and manage budgets related to curriculum and training.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
• State certification in Special Education or School Leadership.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Experience supporting teachers and improving instructional quality.
• A genuine passion for helping students with diverse learning needs succeed.
