We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our leadership team as the Director of Teaching and Learning.

Role Overview:

The Director of Teaching and Learning will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic vision and driving the development of high-quality instructional practices across the institution. This individual will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching methodologies, improving student outcomes, and ensuring that our curriculum remains rigorous, relevant, and responsive.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school's teaching and learning strategies.
Collaborate with faculty to design and refine curricula that meet the needs of LBLD students.
Provide leadership and professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance instructional practices.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making to improve student achievement.
Analyze student performance data and work with academic teams to implement targeted interventions and support strategies.
Work closely with school leaders to align teaching practices with the institution’s mission, vision, and goals.
Ensure alignment of assessments with curriculum standards and the needs of students.
Promote the use of innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Stay informed about current educational trends, research, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
Proven experience in teaching and educational leadership.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire educators to improve student outcomes.
