Position: Female Shabbos and Yontif Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Monsey, NY
Pay: Approximately $560 per Shabbos
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support and personal care during Shabbos and Yontif in Monsey, NY. The DSP will assist individuals with disabilities in their daily living activities, ensuring they can participate fully in Shabbos and Yontif observances while receiving the care they need.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities.
- Assist individuals with meal preparation, serving, and clean-up in accordance with Shabbos and Yontif requirements.
- Help ensure individuals are safely able to participate in Shabbos and Yontif services and activities.
- Support individuals with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
- Engage with individuals in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life during Shabbos and Yontif.
- Communicate with family members and other caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
- Follow all relevant guidelines and protocols related to personal care and religious observance.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a DSP or in a similar caregiving role.
- Ability to perform personal care tasks.
- Knowledge and understanding of Shabbos and Yontif observances.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.
