A Brooklyn yeshiva is hiring a science curriculum coordinator and middle school science teacher. Job involves overseeing curriculum development using diverse resources, and utilizing assessment data to shape the curriculum. Candidate will be observing and coaching teachers, collaborating with general studies leadership, and supporting curriculum mapping and lesson planning. Job also involves teaching two daily periods of middle school science. Candidate will need to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment, manage behavior effectively, and encourage scientific exploration. Candidate must have a BA, although an MA is preferred. Looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience working in a school. Salary is commensurate with experience and hours.
Mon-Thurs, 9 am-5 pm, and Fri, 9 am-1/2 pm
