Description:
Cheder Menachem of Long Island, located in Valley Stream, NY, is a unique and vibrant Chabad Cheder for grades Pre1A - 8. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and warm environment, with smaller class sizes that allow for personalized attention and care for each Talmid. This creates an ideal setting for academic excellence and instilling strong Chassidishe values.
Just 10-minutes from the Ohel, our Cheder is situated in a beautiful area with a State Park right next door.
We serve students from various areas, including Crown Heights, Queens, the Five Towns, and the greater Long Island region, giving our Cheder a unique out-of-town feel.
Our Cheder is renowned for its true Chassidishe atmosphere, founded upon Chinuch Al Taharas Hakodesh, with eidel and refined students who are a pleasure to teach.
We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team for the upcoming school year.
Available positions include:
Teaching Positions in both the younger and older divisions
Assistant Principal
Programs Director
School Office Manager
We also offer support for couples interested in moving to Long Island or nearby towns to be involved in Shlichus while working at the Cheder. This is a unique opportunity to be on Shlichus while focusing on Chinuch.
