JOB OPPORTUNITY: YOUTH SPORTS COACH

Our organization, JYS, Jewish Youth Sports, is dedicated to nurturing athletic talent and fostering teamwork among children.
We’re seeking enthusiastic and skilled Youth Sports Coaches to join our dynamic team.
Position: Youth Sports Coach
Sports: Soccer, Basketball, Football
Ages: 2-12 (Boys and Girls)
Locations: Great Neck & Queens, NY
Responsibilities:
-Coach and mentor children aged 2-12 in soccer, basketball, and football.
-Develop and implement engaging practice sessions and drills tailored to various age groups and skill levels.
-Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of sports.
-Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages children to participate and grow.
-Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and development.
-Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and games.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience coaching or working with youth in sports setting
-Strong knowledge of soccer, basketball, and/or football fundamentals and strategies.
-Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while maintaining a fun and supportive atmosphere.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with children.
-Ability to work flexible hours / free lance as per need
