Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kosher Household Manager to oversee the day-to-day

operations of a prestigious residence in Long Beach, California. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to strict kosher guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the household.
• Conduct daily meetings with homeowners to discuss their needs and tasks.
• Assist with secretarial and administrative duties as required.
• Coordinate with vendors for project bids and oversee their work.
• Cook and prepare all personal meals for homeowners.
• Ensure the residence is stocked with food and household essentials.
• Maintain inventory of food and party supplies.
• Coordinate maintenance services for both the primary residence and adjacent Airbnb property.
• Supervise and manage a full-time groundskeeper.
• Oversee housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness of the primary residence and Airbnb property.
• Assist with scheduling and provide support as needed.
• Collaborate with homeowners regarding hiring or termination of staff.
• Manage and oversee parties, dinners, and events, including coordination with external caterers.
• Handle incoming mail and packages, as well as medication and household supplies.
• Offer suggestions for improving efficiency and take initiative as appropriate, with final decisions resting with the homeowners.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and organization for Shabbat and Jewish holidays.
• Work as needed on legal holidays and occasional Sundays, with Saturdays and Yom Tov off.
• Coordinate vacation and sick days with homeowners, ensuring proper staffing during absences.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in household management or personal assistance roles preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in meal preparation and dietary restrictions.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules.

Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
