Position Summary:
The Pantry Case Worker, Boro Park Food Program is responsible for overseeing client communications at the food pantry located in Met Council’s Brooklyn Social Services Hub. Responsibilities include using Met Council’s digital system to facilitate the ordering, packing, conducting inventory checks, and pick-up of emergency food packages in Boro Park. Individuals who work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and have good time management skills are key to this position. Exceptional customer service is required for this role. Pantry staff are expected to interact with guests in a friendly, respectful and professional manner, whether in person or via the pantry’s mobile communication system. This role will continue to support the building of client connections and support the pantry’s day-to-day operations.

Required Occasionally: Reaching above the shoulder, and lifting 5-25 pounds, pushing and pulling
Compensation: $40,000 - $47,000 per year.
