Description:
We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and proactive Resident Manager & Community Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of a mixed-use residential building, including a dedicated floor for college students. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication and organizational skills who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building community.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Housing Oversight
Compile, review, and manage student housing applications and required documentation
Coordinate student move-ins and provide a welcoming experience
Enforce building rules and student conduct policies to maintain a respectful, safe environment
Serve as the main point of contact for student residents, addressing inquiries and concerns
Resident & Tenant Relations
Communicate regularly with all tenants regarding building updates, maintenance, and community events
Foster a positive and inclusive residential experience for all residents
Cleaning Coordination
Maintain a cleaning schedule for all student units
Use a standardized checklist to verify that units have been cleaned properly
Track cleaning records and report any discrepancies
Leasing & Re-Renting Support
Assist with the re-rental of residential units, including showings and application processing
Collaborate with property ownership or leasing agents to keep occupancy high
Community Management
Organize and host events to build a sense of community among residents
Support seasonal or themed programming to encourage engagement and retention
Qualifications:
Prior experience in leasing, student housing, or hospitality is preferred
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with college student populations or campus life
Real estate license or broker experience (or willingness to obtain)
Bilingual or multilingual communication skills
