We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Specialist/Manager to oversee and enhance our Claims Department. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dynamic team, ensuring efficient processing and resolution of insurance claims while maintaining high standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support claims adjusters and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Claims Management: Oversee the entire claims process from initiation to resolution, ensuring accurate and timely handling of claims.
Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all claims adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Conduct regular audits and implement improvements as needed.
Customer Service: Address complex or escalated claims issues, providing exceptional service and clear communication to policyholders.
Reporting & Analysis: Monitor claims trends and performance metrics, preparing detailed reports and recommending strategies for process improvements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in claims management within the property and casualty insurance industry.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
