Job Description

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Director of Risk Management to develop and implement strategies that minimize financial and operational risks, with a focus on workplace injuries and compliance. This leadership role requires expertise in risk management, strong claims handling experience, and a proactive approach to loss prevention.

Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee risk management staff. - Develop and implement workplace safety programs. - Conduct risk assessments, audits, and analyze injury trends. - Advise clients on tailored risk mitigation strategies. - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. - Utilize and optimize risk management software tools. - Maintain relationships with insurance carriers and brokers. - Identify cost-saving opportunities through data analysis. - Provide reports and insights to senior management. - Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.

Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in risk management, insurance, or related field; Master’s preferred. - 5–10 years of workers’ compensation risk management experience (insurance carrier required). - Certified Risk Manager (CRM) preferred. - Expertise in workers compensation, employer’s liability, and related regulations. - Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills. - Proficiency in risk management software and Microsoft Office. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to travel as needed.

Physical Requirements: - Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs as required.

Salary:

$200K–$275K per year
