Job Description
Mount Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to oversee compliance for our OMH Article 31 clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OMH-specific regulations and demonstrate expertise in ensuring adherence to Medicaid, HIPAA, and OMH standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to ensure OMH and Medicaid compliance.
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) audits on treatment plans, session notes, and clinical documentation.
- Monitor and report on incident management, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for data privacy and security.
- Train staff on compliance-related topics, including OMH regulations, HIPAA, and Medicaid requirements.
- Serve as the point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and audits.
- Stay updated on changes to OMH regulations and implement necessary updates in clinic practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- At least 5 of experience in compliance management.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicaid, OMH regulations, and HIPAA compliance.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
