Diagnostic Specialist – Tristate Area
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Location: In-person & Remote (occasional travel within a 30-minute radius of work location)
Hourly Rate: $90 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Specialist to perform Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments at our clinic. The ideal candidate must be ADOS-certified and passionate about working with children and adolescents (ages 1-20). This position offers flexibility for remote work, with occasional in-person assessments required within a 30-minute travel radius.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ASD diagnostic evaluations using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) for clients aged 1-20 years.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment recommendations.
- Clearly communicate assessment findings and recommendations to clients and families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and progress.
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
- Provide follow-up support as needed.
Requirements
- ADOS certification required.
- Strong knowledge and experience in ASD diagnostics.
- Willingness to travel within 30 minutes of the clinic for in-person assessments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with clients and families.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensure as a psychologist or pediatric medical practitioner is beneficial but not required.
