Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to lead and enhance our
therapeutic services at our Article 16 Clinic in Monsey, NY. This pivotal role involves providing expert clinical social work services, supervising clinical staff, and developing programs to meet the diverse needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. The LCSW will play a key role in driving our mission to offer compassionate, comprehensive, and effective services to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Services: Provide high-quality clinical social work services, including assessments, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Program Development: Lead the development and implementation of innovative clinical programs and services that address the needs of our clients and their families.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor clinical staff, including social workers and other therapy providers, to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and adherence to professional standards.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services for clients, fostering an integrated approach to health and well-being.
- Community Outreach: Engage in outreach efforts to build relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and referral sources to enhance service accessibility and awareness.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards. Stay abreast of emerging research and best practices in the field to continuously improve service quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) and a valid New York State LCSW license.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical social work, preferably within a setting serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in staff supervision and program development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, staff, and community partners.
