We are looking for a part-time (20 hours a week) Administrative Assistant to help us collect and organize information by calling a specific department at the IRS that deals with the Employment Retention Credit (ERC) program. We have offices in Cedarhurst, NY and Hallandale Beach, Florida. Remote work is possible if you live somewhat local to either of those towns and can meet for an interview and perhaps once a month in person at the beginning. You can start right away or within a few weeks.
Responsibilities
The main focus of this position will be to obtain information for our clients about the status of their expected ERC payments from the IRS. You will then enter this data into a spreadsheet and communicate your findings with other staff. This plus other administrative tasks will help contribute significantly to our company’s success.
Experience
· Using Microsoft Excel
· Keeping records of calls
· Using eFax
· Utilizing email to communicate findings
· Calling the IRS or similar government agencies (helpful, but not required)
· Familiarity with tax forms (preferred, but not required)
· Familiarity with ERC (preferred, but not required)
· Reading 8821 forms (preferred, but not required)
