Job Overview

Ohr Torah is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and personable individual to serve as our Shul admin assistant. This part-time role is essential to supporting the day-to-day operations of the shul, ensuring efficient communication, event coordination, and administrative organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main administrative contact for the shul
  • Manage shul communications (emails, newsletters, announcements)
  • Coordinate lifecycle events, rentals, and scheduling of simchas

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in email, Microsoft Office, and basic digital platforms
  • Familiarity with synagogue life and the Jewish calendar
  • Previous office or admin experience strongly preferred

Compensation
Hourly Rate Range: $25/hour
