Job Overview
Ohr Torah is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and personable individual to serve as our Shul admin assistant. This part-time role is essential to supporting the day-to-day operations of the shul, ensuring efficient communication, event coordination, and administrative organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main administrative contact for the shul
- Manage shul communications (emails, newsletters, announcements)
- Coordinate lifecycle events, rentals, and scheduling of simchas
Qualifications- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in email, Microsoft Office, and basic digital platforms
- Familiarity with synagogue life and the Jewish calendar
- Previous office or admin experience strongly preferred
CompensationHourly Rate Range: $25/hour
