Billing Coordinator
Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Billing Coordinator to join
our team at a leading Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company. The Billing
Coordinator will be responsible for processing and submitting insurance claims,
ensuring accurate billing for DME products, and addressing customer inquiries
regarding billing and payment. The ideal candidate will have strong
communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced
environment.
Key
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit claims to insurance providers in a timely manner
Verify insurance coverage and ensure compliance with regulations
· Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies with customers and insurers, providing
timely follow-up on claim denials and rejections.
Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related
field preferred).
-Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:
$25-$30 an hour
