Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Customer Service and Order Entry Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing orders, and maintaining efficient communication with both customers and internal teams. This role requires proficiency in utilizing ERP systems, excellent Excel skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and online chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently into the company's ERP system.
  • Coordinate with various departments such as sales, logistics, and production to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Blooms Kosher's product offerings, pricing, and promotions to effectively assist customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively, striving to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Generate reports and analyze data using Excel to support decision-making processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and provide support as needed.
  • Assist in developing and implementing customer service policies and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on industry trends, product updates, and system enhancements.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business administration or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service and order entry roles, preferably in the food or consumer goods industry.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems (experience with NetSuite is a plus) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and technologies in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Prior experience in a kosher or food manufacturing environment is desirable but not required.
  • Available to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at our New Jersey location.
