Position OverviewThe CSR will play a critical role in managing client relationships, providing support, and ensuring client satisfaction. This individual will act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, processing policy changes, and assisting with claims. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in P & C insurance and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing questions, concerns, and requests related to their P & C insurance policies.
Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist clients with filing claims, providing guidance on the process, and following up to ensure resolution.
Review insurance policies with clients to explain coverage options, exclusions, and policy details.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
Handle billing inquiries and assist with payment processing as needed.
Collaborate with underwriters and other insurance professionals to address complex client needs.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and new product offerings.
Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CSR in the P & C insurance industry.
In-depth knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products and services.
Current state insurance license for P & C preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and relevant software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client service.
