Passaic, NJ
A company near Passaic, NJ is hiring an estimating representative. This candidate will be communicating with salespeople to help them with the bidding process, reviewing architectural drawings & comparing them with the job specs & requirements. The candidate will also be working out calculations, requesting quotes from vendors, set project budgets, and will be drafting proposals & scope of work documents, and putting together the financial estimates. The candidate will also be putting together reports using data from different sources. Must be organized, detail oriented, have excellent communication skills (phone and email), must be tech savvy (especially in Excel), have good mathematical skills, and good task management skills. Must have at least 3 years of prior office experience with the custom cabinet industry, or a similar industry and have experience to sales pitch and strategy. Option to work 3 days/office and 2 days remotely. Salary is commensurate with experience and hours.
Hours: Mon-Thurs, 9 am-5 pm (must work until 5 pm), and Fri, 9 am-1/2 pm.
